What insurance do I need?
If you book directly with us, you will receive a travel insurance certificate from us, which pays the travel sum if the tour operator goes bankrupt . Then you may need a  travel cancellation insurance. Since we do not offer such an insurance, you should make sure that you are sufficiently insured before you enter the Czech Republic. Every major insurance company has such insurance in its program.
Health insurance is also compulsory. Before you leave, make sure that you are fully covered and that you are also covered in the event that you need to be taken out of the country.
As we do not know the details of your insurance, we recommend that you look up what you are covered against and whether you have all the insurance required by Czech law.How experienced should I be before I go on a particular tour?
The average distance, terrain and difficulty level are shown in the description of each tour on the website. Based on this you should be able to assess whether the tour is something for you or not. If you are still unsure, you can call us at any time to get an individual assessment. A certain amount of stamina is recommended for each tour.

Can I extend my stay or combine certain tours?
It is possible to extend your stay by specifying this when booking. Even if your booked tour does not lead through this specific city, it is possible to extend your trip there. Just let us know.
It is also possible to combine two tours. If your tour ends in Vienna, for example, but you would like to travel to Bratislava, you will receive a route description and a hotel for the night. Just let us know your wishes and we will do our best to make it all happen according to your wishes.

What happens to the luggage?
You leave your luggage at the reception before 10:00 a.m.. One of our staff will take your luggage to the nearest hotel, so that your luggage will definitely be there before you reach the hotel. During the day you only need a few things to fit in your bike bags or backpacks, such as water, snacks, sun cream, rain jacket, etc.

What are useful apps on my smartphone?
The app "maps me" offers very detailed maps of countries all over the world. You can install it and then select the download for the Czech Republic. You now have a map of the whole country. This is especially useful in places where we can't provide maps. The app lists shops and services in the area and is very accurate in locating streets and buildings.

The app "tripadvisor" lists all kinds of attractions and places in certain cities and areas that are worth a visit. You can easily select your interests and find places of interest for you.
Any translation app that allows you to communicate in case someone doesn't speak English is also useful.
Any GPS app that allows you to find your exact location and shows you where you are on a map is also highly recommended.

When do I get all the maps and information about the tour?
If you have booked through us, we will send you the documents about 3 weeks before the start of your trip. In some cases, the receptionist or one of our staff will give you an information pack at the first hotel, including all maps, vouchers and anything else you need.


What should I do in an emergency?
In the event of an accident, dial 112 on your telephone. In other cases, such as defective equipment, you can call our SOS service, which is available around the clock.



Is it possible for me to change the date of my vacation?

This is possible if it is requested at least 7 days before the start of your tour. You will be charged administrative costs of € 25,-.

 

Can I still make changes in my booking after I booked the tour?

You can make changes in your booking. However, you will be charged with € 25,- administrative costs 30 days prior to departure. Otherwise, other fees may apply.
